I am writing this message to ask you for a little support. But first of all I have to explain WHY am I doing this. In a month I am flying with a group of Polish artists to China, to perform during the ChoP Festival in several venues, in Shenzhen. As I have bad experience with the airlines which once lost my luggage I take all my musical gear into the hand luggage. As you can imagine I cannot take everything with me cause I have to minimise almost every part of my necessary equipment. I am using a guitar a lot but I cannot take all my pedals with me. So I found a great solution.

I want to buy the Line 6 Sonic Port

The cheapest Sonic Port in my country (Poland) is 375 PLN which is about 90 EUR or 120 USD.

That is why I decided to set the prices of all my digital releases to Name Your Price (starting with $0.00) and ask you for a little help. Please support one or more of my releases and help me purchase the Sonic Port which will be an awesome addition to my mobile live setup. The decision is yours.

(Here you can find some reviews of my latest albums: reviews / more reviews)

And here are the releases:

Grzegorz Bojanek – “Constraints”
Grzegorz Bojanek – “Remaining Sounds”
Grzegorz Bojanek – “Live in May”
ChoP v.1 – Grzegorz Bojanek & Zen Lu
Eta Carinae – “Home”
Eta Carinae – “::3::”
Eta Carinae – “Movement…”
Eta Carinae – “Eta Carinae”

Thank you and enjoy the music.

Please check this awesome IDM release. This album is a trip back to the 90’s so if you loved early albums of Autechre, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, u-Ziq or Cylob – you should definitely check it out.

Here is the BandCamp link where you can get the album in physical form. Several options available!

I started working on new material called “Frozen Lake” inspired by the lake which is near the place I live. I presented it for the first time during WEF.LIVE.LAB on 23.02.2013 in Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw.

Here are some excerpts:

After quite a long time I’m finally back (though don’t know for how long). I really wanted to take part in the project # 0055 but couldn’t find enough free time last week.

About the process. First I wanted to use the contact microphone, but I really wasn’t happy with the recording so I simply recorded it via the integral Zoom H4 microphones. I like using Ableton Sampler in such cases when there is almost no “musical” or “harmonical” element in the basic material. I put the clock recording into Sampler and used just a small piece, with the loop playing back and forth. I also added a nice Toraverb by D16 (actually my friends :-).  This was the basic soundscape which I later transformed in the Gleetchlab 3.0.

Finally I used the Gleetchlab transformed tracks + the original clock recording and created a final track in Ableton Live. I used some EQ to get the final effect.

Listen to the latest track by Er Dao and Piotr Michałowski – two members of the ChoP Project who will perform together during the upcoming ChoP Festival in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

Warsaw Electronic Festival is 10 years old. As I am one of the organizers, I am working nowadays to make things happen in June. All people who are involved in the project have a lot of things to do. I am sure, we will soon announce some events and stars who are coming this year to Warsaw. We want to show some artists from the history of WEF and some who are quite popular nowadays. Stay tunned.

I made this poster from the pictures taken during the last edition of WEF
